Electric Throttle Ring mobility car adaptations from Bradley Auto Services
This Italian made accelerator ring attaches easily to the vehicle's steering wheel. Pressing the ring down produces an electrical signal which is sent to a dedicated control box. This in turn analyzes the signal and drives an electric servo which is linked to the vehicle's accelerator.
The unit can be switched off at any time reverting the vehicle back to its original driving configuration. The electronic ring has an extremely smooth and comfortable action, providing an immediate and intuitive driving 'feel'. Due to the clever design of the ring, the ring can be fitted to steering wheels containing airbags and is usually supplied complete with a hand operated brake lever. |
