The Elap V40 Hoist has been produced to provide a cost effective solutions to the loading and un-loading of scooters/wheelchairs into the boot of saloon, hatchback and estate cars including MPV's. It univeral fitting left or right handed design simplfies the fitting of the unit. Loading and un-loading is effortless and totally safe since the boom is locked automatically when positioned vertically.
Elap have developed the Multiboom which makes operating and stowage of the unit truly simple! Not only is the boom telescopic to help stowage but it can also fold back on itself to save boot space.
The Elap hoist is simple to use and provides you with a safe and effortless way of loading your wheelchair into the boot of your vehicle. The hoist loading strap is simply wrapped through your folded wheelchair and the up button pressed on the base unit. An optional remote handest is also available should you prefer and lifting attachments for mini scooters can be supplied. Once loaded the arm is effortlessly swung into the vehicle where the load is positioned in the boot. Simply unclip the strap and fold the boom down neatly at the rear of the boot to complete.
